Somersham Town Youth FC was formed in September 2005. .Their first victory was away to Ramsey in May 2006 with a hard fought 4-3 win .Also in June2006 they won the s.t.y.f.c trophy beating Soham 2-1 in the final .Since September 2006 they have played in the Hunts U7 league and have prooved to be a well organised team with great defensive play and clinical in attack.In the 2006/7 season the team has played 17 games won 13,lost 3 and drawn 1 scored 69 goals and conceded 28.What a great first season,every player has improved their own game and the team has gone from strength to strength.The 2007/2008 season was again an improved season with all the players learning more about playing in different positions.We plyd 20 ( league and friendly games)W 12 D 2 L 6 scoring 81 goals and conceding 40.We also played in a number of tournaments and festivals including a weekend away to Mablethorpe which prooved to be a great success both on and off the pitch.This season sees the Blues in a tougher league so its a great opportunity for the boys to express themselves against some good local teams.

Qualified and fully capable
Has done some basic training but is hardly qualified. It's just to meet regulations really.
